Directors and Staff

The founders of Elk Ranch Academy are Bob and Donna Frederickson. They have over 20 years of experience with children, raising their own 6 unique personalities and acting as mentors for others that simply needed them. 

Bob and Donna started as foster parents, during which time they adopted all six of their children.  Over the past twenty years, Bob has been a high school Teacher and Head Coach for football, baseball and softball.  To this day many of his former student simply call him “Coach”.  Bob has worked in the Christian education field for the last fifteen years, serving as both a teacher and a coach.  He has worked the last five years with troubled teens, as the Program Director of Abundant Life Academy in Kanab Utah .

The dream of Fredericksons and the staff at El Ranch Academy, is to help good boys who simply need a bit “more” to be successful and to give families a second chance to thrive.
