Get the Help Your Son Needs

Elk Ranch Academy is set up to help boys ages 7 to 17 who are experiencing difficulties with educational, social, familial, emotional, and/or behavioral issues. These students generally have average or above-average abilities that have not been fully realized. 

Some common issues among our students include:

 Our Professional staff will do a comprehensive Assessment of your son and upon enrollment that assessment will be used to create a Student Service Plan that your son to follow while at E.R.A. 

When a student attains the goals he and his parents have set behaviorally, academically, and therapeutically, he is ready to return home and enroll in a traditional school setting or transfer to a larger residential school.  E.R.A. parents work closely with therapists and counselors to assure a positive transition.

Is Elk Ranch Academy right for you & your son?

1. E.R.A. is a multi-denominational Christ centered Positive Peer Culture program.

2. E.R.A. is a year-round program, allowing students to enroll at any time.  The average stay is nine to fourteen months.

3. E.R.A. has a full Therapeutic team. 

4. All educational needs are met on an individual basis.

5. All families participate in Family restoration phone calls. 

6. Student numbers are kept low so that each student gets the attention they need. 

7.  Students participate in outdoor ranch work and camping activities, which require a measure of good health.

8.  Day to day students interact with and care for ranch animals.

9. Students live in a structured, monitored "home like" environment.

10. Growth is a way of life at E.R.A.
